| How to apply | Applications must be submitted online via the NOUS system. Please review the user manual (PDF) below and register as a new user on NOUS. The following manual is available on the Institute for Molecular Science website. | Important notes on the Application | ・Please prepare the “Notification of Use of Test Sample and Chemical Substance at UVSOR” in advance. Example PDF Form Word PDF ・Please describe the research objectives, research content, and implementation plan, referring to the sample provided. Example PDF Draft template download ※ ※You will be logged out after 4 hours, and your entries will be discarded. If you need to interrupt your work, be sure to click “Save App.” to save your progress temporarily. For safety, we recommend preparing your entries in advance using the “Draft Template (Word)” and then pasting them into the corresponding fields in the application system. |
| Application Process After Logging In to NOUS | 1. Start from “New Application” 2. Once you have finished entering all the application information, first click “Save App.” in the tabs at the top of the page to save your progress temporarily, and then click “Submit App.” to complete the application.(※1) (※2) 3. An email confirming the completion of the application will be sent to the designated representative. (※1) If an error occurs during submission, your entered information may be deleted, so please click “Save App.” to save your changes temporarily before submitting. (※2) When you return to My Page, your application will appear in the “New Applications” list. Click the “Edit” button to modify your application details. You can also submit your application by clicking the ‘Submit’ button on My Page. Even after submitting, your application remains open for editing until it is locked. If you edit an application after submitting it, simply clicking “Save App.” will treat it as a resubmission. |
